William Laurent awarded "Driver of the Year" by the National Trailways Association

Trailways of New York is proud to announce the selection of  William Laurent as "Driver of the Year" in the full time scheduled route divison by the National Trailways Association.

Mr. Laurent began his career with Trailways of New York in May 1979. During this time he has safely and comfortably transported passengers over 1.5 million accident free miles to nearly all corners of New York State including the Adirondacks, the Capital Region, the Hudson Valley, New York City and Long Island.

Not only is Bill favored by passengers but he is also described by colleagues as "conscientious and, simply put, an un-sung hero."

Bill will receive his award at a ceremony this March in Destin, FL.

Our commitment to safety is personified in the outstanding safety record of our operators. We are proud to introduce the following drivers who have achieved the enviable accomplishment of having driven over one million miles without an accident.
